The South Carolina Clogging Council is a non profit organization whose purpose is to support clogging, improve traditional and modern forms of clogging, and to improve the level of our dancers in the state of South Carolina.

The South Carolina Clogging Council hosts a Stampede every March that offers a workshop as well as a competition.  Dancers and teams from all over the state come together to learn some new steps, compete for awards, and just enjoy fun and fellowship through clogging.

A Palmettos Finest Clogging Team was created in 1996 to recognize dancers for their dedication to clogging. The team consists of 8 dancers who live in the State of South Carolina and have attained special recognition for leadership, enthusiasm, clogging skills, team spirit, and team dedication.   Every year a new team is selected.  See our Palmetto's Finest page for a list of recipients.

Election of officers is held every 2 years at the annual SCCC Stampede.  Annual Dues for membership are $10 per year.  Membership runs from January 1- December 31.
